BERYL MARSDEN - GONNA MAKE HIM MY BABY (1965)
Born Beryl Hogg in the Toxteth area of Liverpool. At the age of 14 she won a local talent competition and was invited to join local band The Undertakers, but was too young to travel with them to Hamburg. Instead she started singing with Howie Casey and the Crew, often performing at the Cavern. She has recorded a number of powerful and soulful but unsuccessful records, and has been described as "undeservedly neglected".
This is the B-Side of her 1965 single "Who You Gonna Hurt".
