Born Carol Hirsch in Bethnal Green. This was her second single, a take on Maxine Brown's "One in A Million", produced and arranged by Ray Davis of The Kinks. She would later change her name to Luan Peters and concentrate on acting. She was the Australian girl in the Fawlty Towers Episode "The Psychiatrist".
